Screaming
Eerily silent
Muted voices in my mind
Scream louder than words

Wonderful, and not the first time my thoughts have aligned with yours when it comes to those prompts 🙂

Probably no more mental than most, Ron, but I do come across as being pretty quiet in real life. What people don’t realize is that there’s very loud voice in my head that’s rarely allowed out. 😀

Your Haiku traveled the serious sound of screaming. I was led down the path of humor. I wrote a second which reached out for the calmness a good silence awakens.
I recognize your silence with familiarity. Well, spoken in written words. jk

Frozen screams quelled
by the warmth of your silence,
I sleep…
and dreams cocoon me.
Thank you, Jennifer. That has too be one of the most lovely comments I’ve ever received.

Your words are filled with warmth melting away anything that would want to be harmful. Allowing dreams to play in fields, the sun glowing down on a covering of daisies.
I thank you for your return comment. It is well received and a most comforting feeling awakened from your poem. I wish us safe dreams held in Morpheus’ arms. jk
